Flotation Systems

Among the outstanding features of our FS7 flotation system are its rugged construction, easy maintenance and exceptional reliability. It’s equipped with its own feed pump, which allows solids recovery to be sited remotely from the system tank – enabling flexibility in layout. The addition of surface suction units and sludge dewatering containers means that our flotation systems can also be integrated in existing processes without major expense and labour, and are therefore ideally suited for both new projects and for retrofitting to existing paint booths, for the automatic discharge of paint sludge.

The FS7 series is very versatile and is available in four standard sizes to cover almost all applications. All sizes offer the space-saving capability of separating unwanted contaminants in the water, and can also be used in locations with challenging space restrictions. The system controller also enables dosing systems to be controlled at the same time, and by receiving various signals from the customer it can also generate a range of automated dosing programmes.

We design the systems individually for each process and, with our own manufacturing facilities, we are able to provide custom system solutions as well.

Naturally, installation, commissioning and maintenance operations are all included in our service.

Dosing Pumps

Our DP20 pneumatic piston dosing pump is particularly well suited for use with viscous or abrasive chemicals. All pump parts except the pneumatic components and seals in this extremely hard-wearing, reliable pump are made of stainless steel. It is a double-action pump with integrated ball valves and the 5/2-way-valve is actuated electrically.

The dosing pump can be controlled directly from process signals, by external timers, from our flotation system controller or from our own actuation systems. Complex timing or control cycles can be programmed to ensure a close match between chemical demand and pump dosing rate.

Stainless steel wall brackets, suction and pressure hoses and all essential installation components are supplied as accessories.

Surface Suction Units

Our SSU 24/48 and SSU 40/64 static surface suction units ensure that the water / sludge mixture which collects on the surface is suctioned off from relatively shallow system tanks, with water levels from 240 mm to 640 mm, even if levels fluctuate by as much as 150 mm and/or with variable flow rates.

Our SSUS 40/64 floating surface suction units are designed for use with deeper system tanks and equipped with a flotation system to ensure constant removal of the water / sludge mixture which collects on the surface, even with fluctuating water levels and /or variable flow rates. The floating construction keeps the surface skimmer system on the water surface permanently.
